The future of Montgomery County is in good hands!
Monday, during LMC's Community Poverty Simulation, we had the privilege of welcoming two outstanding interns from Education for Tomorrow Alliance (EfTA) who are currently interning with the City of Oak Ridge North.
To say they impressed us would be an understatement. They were engaged, thoughtful, mature, and brought insight well beyond their years. Watching these young leaders interact, ask questions, and fully embrace the experience was both encouraging and inspiring.
At Leadership Montgomery County, we believe leadership is developed through experience, service, and meaningful community engagement—values we proudly share with Education for Tomorrow Alliance. Through its leadership and career programs, EfTA equips students with mentorship, real-world experiences, and opportunities to become leaders who make a difference.
We're grateful for organizations like EfTA that are investing in the next generation and creating pathways for students to grow into people of character, compassion, excellence, generosity, and leadership.
Thank you, EfTA, for being such an incredible partner in building a stronger community. The future is bright because of young leaders like these.
