In the wake of Hurricane Helene, we've been reminded of the incredible resilience and strength within our pectin community. Recently, we learned of a close friend who faced devastating losses due to the storm, including damage to their facility and supplies. Despite these challenges, they're determined to rebuild and move forward stronger than ever.

We're sharing their story in the hopes that others will feel inspired to support them. They’ve launched a fundraising effort to help with recovery, and any support you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

We're excited to share a glimpse into our past with photos from our founding days. While we take a moment to look back, we do so with the understanding that our history is just a small part of a much larger story—yours.

In 1986, the closure of the United States' last domestic pectin manufacturing facility threatened to leave businesses nationwide without their crucial ingredient—pectin. Stepping into this void, Fred DeVito not only foresaw the impending challenge but acted decisively. By founding Pacific Pectin, he ensured that American businesses continued to have access to the essential pectin they relied on. From its inception as a small-scale blending operation, Pacific Pectin has evolved into an industry leader, a journey propelled by our unwavering dedication to exceeding our customers' needs and championing their success.

We share our story not for accolades but to underscore our foundational belief in partnership and resilience. It's a reminder that, at our core, we are here to contribute to your journey, to support and grow alongside you. Our aim is to celebrate not just where we've come from, but more importantly, where we can go together.

Thank you for being the most vital part of our history and future. Here's to continuing to write our stories, together.
