Equity means looking at the law and the whole picture—especially the divinely crafted person at its center.
In preparation to celebration the passing of St Francis of Assisi from this world to eternal life let us join Franciscans around the world praying the Novena. Below the link to day 5.

Dear God, as the weather changes, the birds migrate, and autumn’s flowers, colors, and clouds arrive, we thank You for this beautiful season!

In the parable of the two sons, Jesus warns the chief priests and elders to be open-minded and willing to change. What are you hoping will change in your life?
Dear sister and brothers
Peace and all good! 🕊️
I warmly invite you to join the Franciscan friars, our parish family and our Bishop Michael Pham for a beautiful evening of prayer and reflection as we celebrate the Transitus of Saint Francis of Assisi this Saturday, October 3rd.at 7pm in the Parish church.
This year’s celebration holds an extraordinarily historic and spiritual significance. We are currently walking through a special Franciscan Jubilee Year, to mark the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis’s passing.
The Transitus is the traditional Franciscan solemnity that ritually remembers the exact hours Saint Francis embraced “Sister Death” and passed from this earthly life into eternal glory. Surrounded by his brothers, candles, and prayer, Francis left us a legacy of peace, profound humility, and deep love for all of God’s creation.
In this great Jubilee year of conversion and grace, let us gather together to look upon his holy example and renew our own commitment to living the Gospel with joy.
Save the date: This Saturday, October 3rd, at 7pm in the parish church. Come share in this season of hopeful expectation and community blessing. We look forward to praying with you!
