BCDM Architects

For 50 years, our work has never been just about the spaces we design. It has always been about the people and communities those spaces serve.

Our 50th Anniversary Celebration was a chance to honor the relationships that have shaped BCDM over the years, including our staff, clients, consultants, and friends. Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone and the many people who make BCDM what it is.

Here’s to the relationships we’ve built, the communities we’ve served, and the next 50 years of creating environments that form people.

Thanks for having us, Nebraska Diaper Bank!

Another ARE milestone worth celebrating!

Dante started at BCDM as an intern and has grown into an incredible team member. He is personable, well-liked by colleagues and clients, and brings his best to every project. Dante pours himself into his work and embodies what it means to create environments that form people.

Congratulations, Dante! We’re proud of you and excited to see what’s next!

A big congratulations to Natalie on passing her NCIDQ exams and becoming a Nebraska Registered Interior Designer!

It’s been a fun month celebrating our staff and their accomplishments. The people at BCDM are what make this firm great, and we’re lucky to have Natalie on our team. Congratulations, Natalie!

Last week, we gathered to celebrate Caleb passing his ARE exams!

His ambition, dedication, and commitment to the craft of architecture are evident in the work he does every day. From design and problem-solving to the technical details, Caleb brings skill and care to every project.

Congratulations, Caleb! We’re proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited to see what’s ahead.

Last week, we celebrated the ribbon cutting for Lincoln View Elementary, marking an exciting new chapter for Papillion La Vista Community Schools! The new 55,000-square-foot school is designed to serve up to 500 students in a modern learning environment that will support their growth for years to come.

We’re proud to continue our more than 40-year partnership with Papillion La Vista Community Schools and grateful for the opportunity to help bring another exceptional school to the community. We can’t wait to see the Lincoln View Leopards fill the halls and wish the students, staff, and families an amazing first school year!

The 2010s were defined by integration. As technology continued to shape everyday life, architecture evolved alongside it. BCDM designed environments that brought people together and strengthened connections across our communities. Each project reflected a growing understanding that great design supports not only how we learn, but how we experience the world around us. Throughout the decade, we continued creating environments that form people while building relationships that continue to shape our future.

The 2000s marked a turning point in our history.

In 2004, ZBM and CDG merged to form BCDM, bringing together a shared commitment to serving educational and religious communities and a depth of experience that continues to shape who we are today. By blending the strengths of both firms, we established a foundation built on collaboration, relationships, and purposeful design.

The merger not only united two firms, but also set the direction for the next chapter of our story and the firm BCDM would become.
