Spielbound volunteers had a chance to attend GenCon 2026 this past weekend, trying out a number of newly released (and soon to be released games), including: Mind the Lines, Compile Main 3, String Theory: The Conspiracy Theory Podcasting Game, and Electrify (co-designed by fellow midwesterner Ian Hutchison)! John L. also completed in the national Doomlings championship as our regional winner!

While her passing is tragic and all too soon, we want to acknowledge the immense contributions to our nonprofit 12+ years ago made by founding board member Dr. Debora Wisneski.

As her celebration of life is being held today, we wanted to share how she taught so many the importance of play in the earliest of ages in education and led by example. Her memory drives us as we say, “play on!”
