A little over a year ago, I started TikTok Shop because I thought maybe I could make a little extra money on the side.
That was literally the goal. A little extra income.
Fast forward to today, and I can officially say I’ve made f**k you money.😂
$20,000 in commission in the last 30 days!
And I’m sharing this because the part you don’t see in that screenshot is everything that happened before it.
There were months I made less than $100.
There were videos I spent forever creating that completely flopped.
There were SO many times during those first few months that I wanted to quit because I genuinely wondered if I was wasting my time.
But somewhere along the way, I decided to double down.
I started setting bigger goals. I started treating this like something I could actually build instead of something I was just trying.
And most importantly, I stopped looking at the women on this platform who were making life-changing money and thinking, “That could never be me.”
Why NOT me?
They weren’t born knowing how to do this. They learned. They stayed consistent. They figured out what worked. And they believed they could change their lives long enough to actually do it.
So I decided I could too.
And now, a little over a year after starting because I wanted some extra spending money, I made $20,000 in the last 30 days from TikTok Shop commissions.
I’m still wrapping my head around that sentence.
I’m proud of the money, obviously. But I think I’m even more proud of the version of myself who kept going when there was absolutely no evidence yet that this was going to work.
So if you’re in your “less than $100 a month”season right now, please don’t use someone else’s chapter 20 as proof that your chapter 2 isn’t working.
Set the ridiculous goal.
Learn everything you can.
Double down.
And for the love of God, stop deciding other women get to have the life you want because there’s somehow something special about them that you don’t have.
Sometimes you just have to be delusional enough to believe “why not me?”until one day you look around and realize…
