Happy National Water Park Day! 🏊 Last month, more than 500 children participated in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. With support from Disney lifeguards and Olympic gold medalist Simone Manuel, they practiced lifesaving skills, built confidence in the water, and had plenty of fun.

On June 12 and 13, 1918, park operators gathered in New York City to discuss the shared challenges and opportunities facing the amusement park business, marking the beginning of what would become IAAPA.
More than a century later, IAAPA continues to bring the global attractions community together, supporting the people and organizations creating experiences that inspire, connect, and move our industry forward.
