Summit Church

October brings cooler weather (hopefully 🤞), pumpkin everything, and plenty of ways to connect at Summit! 🧡

Jesus calls himself the Resurrection and the Life, reminding us that even in places that feel lost or beyond hope, he is still at work bringing new life.

Take a few moments today to slow down and remember: you are brought back to life and filled with hope through Jesus. Wherever you need hope today, trust that he is still making things new.

A glance at what our Summit community looks like 🧡

Jesus calls himself the Gate for the Sheep—the one who welcomes us into the life he offers.
Take a few moments today to slow down and remember: you are invited into the mercy, grace, and peace of Jesus. You don’t have to earn your way in—the invitation is already there. Come to him and receive what only he can give.

Seven and a half years ago, Riverside Neighborhood Church began with a few neighbors gathered in Doug Foley’s living room to talk about Jesus.

What followed were years of worship, friendship, service, baptisms, and a community learning what it looks like to love their neighbors well.

Now, as the Riverside chapter comes to a close, its impact continues—in the people who were part of it and in the work Doug is doing today as Lead Chaplain at the Orange County Jail.

Jesus calls himself the Good Shepherd—the one who knows us, cares for us, and leads us toward life.
Take a few moments today to slow down and remember: you are protected, cared for, and led by Jesus. Even when the way ahead feels uncertain, you can trust the Shepherd who knows you and walks with you.
