Yesterday marked the first annual International Equine-Assisted Services Day, a day dedicated to recognizing the life-changing impact of equine-assisted services around the world.

At Freedom Ride, this is exactly what we do every day. Through the power of the horse-human connection, we help children and adults build confidence, develop new skills, improve physical and emotional well-being, and achieve goals they never thought possible.

Today, we celebrate our incredible participants, horses, volunteers, instructors, donors, and supporters who make this work possible. Thank you for being part of a community that changes lives one ride, one lesson, and one relationship at a time.

For 78 years, Stockman's has been a trusted part of the Central Florida equestrian community, providing quality saddles, tack, supplies, and expert service to generations of horse owners and riders. As they recently closed their doors, we want to recognize the incredible legacy they leave behind and the lasting impact they have had on so many people and organizations, including Freedom Ride.

🐴 We're Hiring: Part-Time Assistant Barn/Horse Manager 🐴

Freedom Ride is looking for an experienced and dependable part-time Assistant Barn/Horse Manager to help care for our herd of therapy horses in Orlando, Florida.

Position Details:
- 20–25 hours per week
- Rotating schedule with barn opening and closing responsibilities Sunday through Saturday
- Opportunity to work with a dedicated team caring for 12 therapy horses that support life-changing programs

Qualified candidates should have:
🐎 Deep horse experience and strong horsemanship skills
✂️ Experience body clipping horses
💊 Knowledge of treating minor injuries and illnesses
🌾 Ability to assist with all aspects of daily horse care and barn management
⏰ Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
