Even more to celebrate about our firefighters and their hard work! Our 370 B-shift was recognized for their lifesaving work on a call. We love celebrating these calls and the incredible work our firefighters do every day!

We just had back-to-back recognitions for the exceptional work of our firefighters in caring for patients experiencing strokes. Oro Valley Hospital recognized our 375 shift, as well as our 372 and 373 shifts for their care and timely notifications on their respective calls.

Great work, everyone!

National Drive Electric Month wraps up soon and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has free resources to help educate you on important safety information regarding electric vehicles.

Installing a dedicated EV circuit and choosing a safe location for your charging equipment can help reduce the risk of fire and keep your home and vehicle safer.

Visit NFPA.org/evsafetyinfo for more safety resources.

A life saved through teamwork. OVPD officers initiated CPR and used an AED, and our 375 crew provided advanced life support to achieve ROSC.

Thank you to our first responders for working together to make a difference when every second counts. ❤️

Take a look at these photos from the trip our GRFD Honor Guard and Pipes & Drums took to the IAFF Fallen Firefighter Memorial in Colorado Springs.

Held annually, this event honors the memory of firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. It’s always an important event for us to support, as it memorializes these brave men and women and their service in such a meaningful and impactful way.

At Golder Ranch Fire District, we proudly support those impacted by breast cancer and pay tribute to the survivors, fighters, and their families. Early detection is key. We urge everyone to stay proactive with regular screenings and continue uplifting each other through this journey.

Together, let’s spread awareness, share hope, and stand united in the fight.

During National Hispanic Heritage Month, we recognize and celebrate the rich culture, traditions, and contributions of the Hispanic and Latino community.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from Golder Ranch Fire District!

❤️‍🩹 STAND WITH EDDIE ❤️‍🩹

Support our friend and coworker, Eddie Dicochea, a fleet mechanic with Golder Ranch Fire District

Eddie works behind the scenes every day, helping keep our apparatus ready and reliable so our crews can safely get to the calls where they’re needed.

Now, Eddie and his family are facing a difficult fight of their own.

Eddie was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma and has begun the road to treatment and recovery.

While Eddie focuses on getting healthy, the everyday expenses don’t stop. Gas, groceries, bills, and other family needs can quickly become an added burden.

That’s where we can help.

When one of our own gets a tough call, we don’t leave them to handle it alone.

If you’re able, please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser. Every contribution, big or small, can help take some of the weight off Eddie and his family and remind them that they have a community standing behind them.

Please keep Eddie and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they take on this fight.

Stay strong, Eddie. We’ve got your back. ❤️‍🩹
