A great day on the golf course! ⛳️

Yesterday, members of the Hurst Construction team enjoyed participating in the Alabama Center for Architecture’s Golf Tournament!

We’re always thankful for opportunities to support our industry, connect with others, and build relationships beyond the jobsite!

The future generation of Hurst Construction showed up ready to work today. 👷🏼‍♀️🚧

Following in Mom and Dad’s footsteps and representing the fourth generation of construction workers in our family. We work hard because of them, and maybe one day they’ll be the ones carrying it forward.

For today though, they’ve got one job: Bulldoze the Bulldogs.

We had a great time at the Church Facilities Conference & Expo! 🙌

It was such a good opportunity to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces, and connect with others who are passionate about serving their churches and communities.

At Hurst Construction, we’re thankful for the opportunity to help churches bring their vision to life through new construction, additions, and renovations.

Work is underway in Downtown Talladega!

Hurst is replacing the clay tile roof and making repairs on the Talladega Chamber of Commerce building for the City of Talladega.

And while we’re at it… check out our new Hurst Construction windscreens!

We’re thankful for the opportunity to work on a building with so much character and history and look forward to sharing the finished product!

Mr. Construction Worker was back at it again today visiting Cleburne County Elementary School.

This visit was extra special because one of his daughters was sitting in the crowd!

We love getting to share a little bit of the construction world with the next generation, you never know, there may have been a future builder there today!

Project Spotlight | South Allen Apartments – Anniston, AL

We’re excited to share a look at the newly completed South Allen Apartments in Anniston!

This project came with its fair share of challenges, especially working with a difficult site and significant elevation changes, but seeing it all come together makes the finished product that much more rewarding.

We still have a few finishing touches to complete, including handrail installation, but we’re proud of how this project turned out and thankful for everyone who helped bring it across the finish line.

Trent had a great morning visiting the Pre-K students at Pleasant Grove Elementary today and talking to them about construction.

We heard afterward that a few of the kids may have already made some career changes and now want to be just like “Mr. Construction Worker.” 😂 We’ll call that a successful career day!

Project Complete | Thankful Community Center – Anniston, AL

We’re proud to share the completed Thankful Community Center, a new space designed to serve the Anniston community for years to come.

We’re grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of bringing this project to life and creating a facility that will make a lasting impact on the people it serves.

We’re proud to congratulate Brandon Johnson on being named to the 2026 Alabama AGC 40 Under 40!

Brandon is a great asset to Hurst Construction, and we’re excited to see his hard work and leadership recognized among some of the top young professionals in Alabama’s construction industry.
