The Little Ferry Community Center is finally here, and it wouldn’t have happened without the vision, efforts, and hard work of the Borough Council, the Department of Public Works, and every laborer that helped restore this building into an amazing hub for recreational, social, and athletic programming.

For more than a decade, Mayor Kristine Morieko has poured her heart into serving Glen Rock—first on the Borough Council and over the past six years as Mayor. Her steady leadership, warmth, and genuine connection to her neighbors have left an enduring mark on both Glen Rock and our entire District 38 community. As she steps back to focus on her health, we send our heartfelt prayers for a full and speedy recovery. We are deeply grateful for her partnership and friendship, and we have absolute confidence in Council President Amy Martin as she leads the Borough through this transition.

Nearly a quarter of New Jerseyans are of Hispanic ancestry, and today begins the month we celebrate them and the amazing cultural traditions, food, art, and music they've given our country.

Thank you to everyone in Saddle Brook and Bergenfield, as well as the entire country, who came together last week to remember the tragedy, terror, and heroism of September 11th — every lost innocent life, every ordinary hero, every first responder that answered the call to action.
