Who else hates dealing with extended warranty adjusters?
They come out but don’t want to lift a single tool to inspect what they’re suppose to. Going to add an extra hour of labor for us having to stop what we’re doing to do their job for them
Do better extended warranty people, we shouldn’t have to do our diag twice because your people are lazy
Ajuster: what engine engine is in this thing.
Us: 6.7
Adjuster: Powerstroke or Cummins
Us: 🤦🏽♂️ bro it’s an f250, what do you think.
Adjuster: why does the transfer case have red fluid and not gear oil.
Us: 🤦🏽♂️
2023 ford f350 6.7 Powerstroke. Incorrect diagnostics from a Ford dealership would have costed this customer roughly $15k!!!!!
09/17/2026
The shop that was cheaper charged this customer to replace the injection pump on this 6.7 Powerstroke. This was “done” less than 60 miles ago but clearly they didn’t, they just installed a cheap ass disaster kit
Customer: you’re too expensive, this other shop labor rate is $100/hr.
Me: but here you are because you spent so much money with said shop and truck still isn’t right. And after reviewing their invoice, they did charge you $100/hr on labor but they doubled the labor hours so you actually paid $200/hr AND parts were sold to you way above retail and are cheap after market and not OEM as the invoice states.
Moral of the story:
Shops can sugar coat things and tell you what you want to hear or we can be honest about what labor actually is. DON’T be fooled.
Also it’s not labor rate that’s causing repairs to be so expensive these days, it’s the cost of parts.
2014 Cadillac ATS and 2020 Chevy Colorado with some lighting issues.
These are easy fixes but we can also get the harder ones fixed. Come see us when you’re having vehicle issues.
2018 6.6 L5P Duramax. Truck stalled while driving, customers feared the worst. DON’T get scammed, hopefully this helps.
Edit: sorry for the video edit that made it seem as if power and ground were supplied from the battery and fuse box. The power is supplied by the battery and ground comes from G121 which is on the chassis near the cab bolt under driver side
2020 Sierra 1500 LM2 3.0 Duramax came in with misfire
7.3 Powerstroke with crank no start concern. Found low oil level low due to oil leaks.
7.3 Powerstroke f250 with a No crank No start concer. Found starter wasn’t engaging. Removed it, tested it and verified it was faulty. New starter installed and it started right up.
