The Magical Space In Between

This shows a Venus fly trap plant being touched with a electrical probe. It is attached to another plant that gets the electrical signal as well and reacts.

As is natural, we kicked off the spring season with lots of plant talk and plant projects. But our heroes of the month aren't PhDs doing science. Our heroes are students! A squad of high-schoolers and undergrads who launched an open library of electrical responses in plants and penned down their findings in their first peer-reviewed paper. 🙌 A Biochemistry student who wrapped up her solo plant conduction velocity internship project and is about to write it up and submit for publication. ✨ All of them from Chile and Serbia. In fact, take it from our intern Carla: "Curious people have asked me if It’s really necessary to be an expert, and I believe that many times not. In my case I have been able to carry out my experiments with a biochemical and electrophysiological background, but you can always do experiments if you have the equipment, curiosity, or love for plants!"

Today, I took a moment to do something I don't do enough: I thanked my body. 🤍

It has carried me through every high, every low, and every single year of my life without asking for anything in return. It breathes, heals, and protects me. It is home to my spirit. There is a field of all possibilities that exists, and is available to all. 💜

If you're reading this, take one deep breath right now and say thank you to the body that is keeping you alive. It deserves the love.

Can Reiki distant healing, channeled from the heart chakra's loving energy, achieve the same level of potency as in-person Reiki? In my opinion, it can be more effective in a shorter period.
