We have some difficult news to share about this Saturday’s WaterFire.

Due to the forecast for a significant nor’easter this weekend, the WaterFire full lighting on Saturday, September 26 is CANCELLED.

We didn’t make this call lightly. The safety of our guests, artists, vendors, volunteers, and staff comes first.

We’re happy to share that a new full lighting has been scheduled for Saturday, October 24!

Fires light at sunset, 5:50 PM

A coastal storm is expected to bring gusting winds and steady rain to our area later this week, with the greatest impacts anticipated on Saturday. Heavy rain, strong wind gusts, and dangerous coastal conditions are possible. We have secured additional crews who will be ready to respond to any impacts the storm may bring.

Now is a good time to prepare. We encourage customers to monitor the forecast, secure outdoor furniture and other loose items, and have a plan in place in case of power outages.
