Thanks, Susan, for this CREATIVE approach to winning the election!

“There’s no way I’m voting. Nobody cares about me!” sure doesn’t sound like a promising start to a canvassing conversation.

But at Canvassing Connectors we DO care—and we know how to show it. By listening with genuine curiosity … empathizing … and reminding people that politics is really personal. We help people who’ve given up on voting to re-engage, with hope.

This conversation ended in a very different place, with an invitation to keep talking. And we will. Not just because every vote counts; but because every *voter* matters.

Let us train YOU to deep canvass. Connecting face-to-face makes a real difference, and it feels great. Sign up at canvassingconnectors.com/ -involved (link in bio)

The midterms are less than 2 months away. Now's the time to get out and make a difference!

We'll train you to deep canvass—the most effective form of persuasion there is. Then you can join us knocking doors in Peekskill. Helping disaffected neighbors there reconnect voting with their values can swing CD-17—and win back a Democratic majority in the House.

It feels great to stop doomscrolling and take effective group action.

Join us in these crucial last few weeks. We're canvassing every weekend from now till the election. Sign up for a shift (or multiple shifts!) at: canvassingconnectors.com/ -involved(Link in bio)

It's important to fight for the things we believe in. But for many people, fighting about politics is just a turn-off.

Caring for those we love, on the other hand, is a universal value. So at Canvassing Connectors we lead with caring, instead of anger or fear. We help our disaffected neighbors connect voting with caring for their families and communities.

We also prioritize caring in our organization. We work hard to respect and nurture each other. That's why our volunteers and our leaders keep coming back.

Join us. You'll make a difference, and have a good time doing it!

Thanks, Susan, for this CREATIVE approach to winning the election!

Deep canvassing is the most effective form of voter persuasion ever measured! When we speak with potential voters, they become anywhere from 14% to 28% more likely to cast a ballot. 🔥🔥

That dwarfs the impact of TV ads, social media, glossy mailers, phone banks, etc.—all the things campaign consultants throw money at.

Your contribution to Canvassing Connectors will make a real difference. Every dollar supports a meaningful, face-to-face conversation in New York’s CD-17. And flipping that congressional district can win a Democratic majority in the House!

Onward!

Deep canvassing is a skill—and we can teach it to you!

A progressive Texas organizer came to our latest online workshop, and was mightily impressed. “I KNOW how much work has gone into creating a training workshop that seems simple on the surface but is bubbling with compassion, intellect and experience. I’m in awe.”

Let us train you to go door-to-door with curiosity and an open heart. Once you’ve learned to deep canvass, you can make a real difference. It feels great!

💙💙

It’s easy to get discouraged when you’re home alone doom-scrolling.

But author Anne Lamott reminds us that hope always “begins in the dark … You wait and watch and work: you don’t give up.”

When the news is bad and optimism is hard to come by, we can still hope. And we can still work—together. With each deep-canvassing conversation, we find new reasons to hope. People want a better future, and they’re ready to work for it.

We’re canvassing multiple Saturdays and Sundays in August. Come out and do some hopeful work with us! It will make you feel a lot better, and it will make a real difference in the world.
