Objectives
TO PROVIDE a voice and a network for residents of Pembroke who support its historical American values.
Pembroke Rising is a positive nonpartisan movement giving a voice and a network to Pembroke, MA residents who support historical American ideals and to families who value the future of their children. TO ENCOURAGE the support of candidates for elected boards and committees who value the American ideals of equal opportunity and equal protection under the law and who strive to understand the true and accurate history of our country and our town. TO RECALL Select Board members and other elected officials who support Left ideologies and any hate from the Left or the Right when their ideological sway interferes with prudence in town affairs. TO RAISE awareness of DEI/CRT issues through educational events and resources. TO PROTECT Pembroke schools from social justice movements that infringe upon their educational mission and to engage and support School Committee members and school administrators who share this concern. TO ASSIST and comfort Pembroke residents who are doxxed while exercising their First Amendment Rights. TO REVISE town bylaws that make it unjustly difficult for residents to recall elected officials who fail in their duties and responsibilities to the people who elected them. TO PROMOTE the idea that Pembroke is a safe haven for people who believe in the First Amendment to the Constitution and where people are allowed to freely speak their minds without fear of reprisal. TO INFORM voters of actions of Pembroke’s governing bodies that affect living costs, income, education, and social interaction.

"Without you, I would have nothing. So wholeheartedly, fully, sincerely, I love you with no end."
That is what Sophie Kutzko wrote on her father's birthday card in October 2024.
Less than three months later, Massachusetts child services took her out of Joseph and Arlene Kutzko's home and accused them of abuse.
The Kutzkos are devout Catholics. They would not tell their daughter she was a boy. That is why the state moved in.
They say Algonquin Regional High School in Southborough socially transitioned Sophie without their knowledge. They say a school counselor did it, then called the Department of Children and Family Services.
The school had no comment.
DCF now has guardianship of their daughter. A permanent restraining order sits on Arlene, Joseph, and Sophie's older brother. They have not spoken to her since the end of 2024.
Last Friday a judge had to temporarily block the state from giving this girl high-dose testosterone. The next court date is October 29.
This is actually horrifying.
No state has the right to seize a child because her parents will not call her a boy. These are not a minor's decisions. They are not the state's decisions either.
There should be no gender treatment of any kind until that child is an adult.
Look at the harm they have already done. Sophie is cut off from the people who love her. Her mother was on camera begging. "Mama missed you. Please come home. I'm begging you, please."
They are keeping a daughter away from her family and then trying to change her body. That harm is happening right now.
Europe already backed off this. After the Cass Review, Britain stopped routine puberty blockers for minors. Sweden, Finland, and Norway tightened the same rules. They looked at the evidence and stopped treating kids like experiments.
America is behind again. This time the stakes are a daughter and the parents who raised her.
This is insane.

The Pembroke Community Services Department will be hosting a 9/11 memorial service on Friday, September 11, starting at 9:45 am at the Community Center Bandstand on the Town Green. Supporting this event will be the Pembroke Police and Fire Departments, and the American Legion, Post 143. Flags will be placed on the Green by the Scouts "in honor of every firefighter and police officer who gave their life in the line of duty on September 11, 2001".

And in high school girl's sports, too. The Pembroke School Committee continues to express its favor for girl-identifying biological males in high school girl sports, with one exception, Sue Bollinger. While they plead the Massachusetts law, in fact they are ideologically committed to boys in girls sports. School Committee elections are Spring 2027.

The Spiral of Silence – Why people don't speak up and speak out when it looks like everyone else has reached consensus. But perhaps they have not.
Their silence does not mean they all agree. It could as well mean that those who are not speaking up have learned what happens to those who do.
The more fear the more silence. The more silence, the more it appears that most everyone is of the same mind. The more everyone is of the same mind, the less reason there is to take the risk of speaking up.
Break the cycle of fear. Refuse the silence.
