Sire: Digger is foundation bred. Digger has proven himself in and outside of the show arena. He has been shown by amateurs and novice amateurs and shined due to his quiet disposition and willing mentality. He continues to prove his versatility in ranch shows, EXCA, beginner lesson horse and even HUS classes at the IBHA world show. Digger’s progeny has been stamped with his versatile abilities and disposition.

Dam: JLO is pleasure bred. She has proven herself in the show ring with youth riders and has most recently been a well rounded lesson horse. She is built like a tank and has passed those lovely genetics onto Link.

Link has the breeding and athleticism to go most any direction.

Cali is a 4 year old bay tobiano Friesian Sport Horse that stands 15 HH.

Cali has a solid foundation that is ready to build on to go on and find a job that’s suitable for her next partner. She has been educated in a manner to have the ability to show in dressage and western dressage. She is soft in the bridle, has the knowledge and ability to engage her body to perform maneuvers with ease. She enjoys the performance aspect of life, and is happy to work daily. She could also show in working equitation or ranch horse. She is a fun ride that does best with a confident rider with a strong seat along with soft legs and hands. She is ready for her next level of education and show career. Cali will pick you up from the mounting block with for ease of mounting.

Cali very much likes to work and do what’s right. However, one quark that has been relevant throughout her last few years is that she is always avoidant of the far end of the arena. She works through it and does what’s needed if she’s held accountable.

Cali stands for grooming, tacking, farrier and baths. Loads, unloads, and trailers great. She is very sweet and docile, loves attention, and is the first to the gate to greet you. She is also very clean in her stall. She has been ridden both English and western, with some showing experience in Western Dressage. She also enjoys the occasional stroll through the trails.

Unfortunately Cali is available due to the owner unable to work with her consistently and set her up for success due to recent surgery. The owner realizes Calis’ abilities and wants to help her find her full potential with someone.

Hiring a weekend barn manager.

Job is Saturdays & Sundays with occasional Fridays.

Duties to includes but not limited to:
- Overseeing other employees.
- Cleaning stalls
- Graining, haying, watering horses.
- Turning horses in & out.
- Sweeping/blowing aisles.
- Bush hogging.
- Fixing fence
-Various other farm tasks

This will not be an every weekend work schedule unless you choose to do so. Details can be discussed.

Must have transportation.
Must be available most weekends.
Must be reliable.

Job is in the heat, cold, rain and snow.

We have a few great people on our weekend crew that you’ll be in charge of that will be covering shifts with you or for you.

Must have horse experience.
Must be able or willing to learn how to drive a tractor/equipment.

Pay is DOE and starts at a base pay.

Well we had a sit down meeting with West and had a long discussion about what we’ve worked on, what we still need to work on, out short term goals and our long term goals.

In honesty, due to my overloaded schedule, he hasn’t been touched other than turning in and out and the occasional grooming and attention during his stall cleaning.

So we haven’t accomplished much at all since our last post aside from getting more settled, comfortable, and confident with people. Which is actually a positive for this guy.

We have a ton we still need to work on. But that will come. We’ll take things day by day and see where we end up.

Short term goals are to actually start getting to work and getting an education.

Long term goals are to make him the best citizen possible to become adoptable and be a trustworthy partner. This may mean simply dropping from competition and taking things as they go until he’s ready to find his partner.

He does have a great chance at becoming a solid mount for a youth rider eventually. His size and athleticism will allow him to go most any direction with a kiddo.

Here’s to hoping we are able to make some time he so definitely deserves.

Uhura is a black AQHA 2022 mare that stands 14.3HH.

She has about 90 days under saddle. She’s had a late start in life due to owners time constraints. She’s is very much a sweet puppy dog who desires human interaction. Not scared of anything with an easy going mindset. She’ll be your steady eddy type you can throw anyone on. While she’ll do most anything you ask of her, she much prefers the slower more relaxed things in life (don’t we all), more woah than go.

She came in a little on the thin side and still needs to gain more weight and muscle. Therefore we haven’t pushed her hard and have taken it very steady but consistent with her. W/T/C with ease, and started on basic maneuvers. Trail rides great and prefers it over arena work. Rides alone or with others. She has been ridden both English and western, with an occasional ba****ck ride. Has also been ridden by youth and amateur riders with ease.

She stands cross tied, hard tied, ground tied. Stands to be groomed, bathed, tacked up, for fly spray and for the farrier. Loads and unloads easily.

If you need a solid citizen that you’ll be able to trust and just have fun on and look good while doing it?! This is your horse! Want a horse you can trust your kids or your grandparents around. This is her! Want a horse that’ll run to you every time she sees you, this is it!

🦴 Bones 🦴

Bones is a 10 year old Devils Garden buckskin gelding that stands 14.3HH.

He came in somewhat halter broke. He has spent the last two months learning to be a domestic citizen. He has come so far but still has a ways to go. He is very much still a project as he is still timid of people. He will need a slow and steady approach to finish out his training. He has a solid mind but seems to maybe of had a bad run in with people in the past. His owner acquired him in hopes to have time to work with him and unfortunately life got in the way. So she sent him here to get a solid foundation to help find him a solid and soft landing. He is a sweet heart with a soft demeanor.

He stands for grooming, ties in cross ties or hard ties, stands for tacking, baths, fly spray. Does all the ground work and lunges well. Has been ground driven and has been started under saddle and will continue that until he leaves.

I’d be happy to continue his training for his new owners if they have the desire to keep him here longer.

He is a handsome horse with a sturdy build paired with a mane to die for.
