Two opportunities available upon request at the Legion

2. The Legion has established a recovery fund from proceeds and donations last Friday. Applications for Legionaries, Sons and Aux are available from the bartender on duty.

Severe flooding in Indiana has displaced many Hoosiers, including Veterans and their families.

To support those affected, IDVA has launched the MFRF Disaster Flood Emergency (DFE) program.

The DFE delivers short‑term financial assistance to qualified individuals displaced from their homes and in need of temporary housing, helping families stay safe during this challenging time. The program runs through Sept. 13.

We are open! 11am Annette will be in serving. Tonight will be a special Wing Night, Billy W***y and the Headliners Band and Treasure Hunt. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to recovery efforts. Join us and take a break from a tough week! Many prayers and while your there if you need assistance let us know.

Your Legion Board Cares. We spent the morning trying to provide shelter to people in the area after the fire dept used the parking lot for a staging area to evacuate the mobile homes.
A few people parked in the lot as well as used the building.
Second half of the day trying to limit the water the basement. We are a strong and connected group and look forward to more people standing up to both help the legion and community. PM us or comment if you want to be a part of this awesome team.

In accordance with the commitment at the election, we will be having an open member meeting to take in comments as well.

In the next few days a copy of the by-laws will be at the Legion to review as well just ask the bartender to see the by law binder (give me a few days on that LOL)

We want as many ideas, comments and as much transparency as possible during this process so we have the best by laws possible.
