Perryton ISD Bands

Hey band! This will be a very busy week, so please be prepared. Attached you will find the weekly plan, itineraries for Friday and Saturday, plus the October calendar.

Saturday will be a little crazy, so we’re going to grab breakfast burritos before we leave and then not eat lunch until after we perform for prelims. Hopefully that will prevent anyone from getting sick during the performance. If you want a burrito, please fill out this form by WEDNESDAY: https://forms.gle/nQcSUioHo6XBiFjL7

We’ll eat lunch at the mall and hang out for a bit before we go back to the stadium to hear the results of prelims. If you have any questions, please let me know!

Weekly schedule and Guymon itinerary!

These are the itineraries for the homecoming parade tomorrow evening and the All Region Help Session happening on Saturday. Everyone is a part of the parade. Saturday is just for the people who signed up.

As for the homecoming game regarding uniforms- we have decided to make a slight change. Due to the heat, we will NOT be wearing full uniform. We will be in our band shorts, band shirt, and tennis shoes. I know some people may be disappointed to not see the full uniform at homecoming, but the health and safety of the students is our top priority. Especially after the tragedy that the University of Iowa band experienced, we are very wary of uniforms in these conditions. Hopefully you will get to see the band in full uniform at the next home game!

Schedule for the week! It’s homecoming week!! There’s a lot of extra stuff going on this week, but we will be marching the entirety of movement 1, and playing movement 2. Please be prepared!
