Willow is a 2024 Murderers Creek Mustang mare who arrived at our rescue from Double Devil Wild Horse Corrals in July 2025.

She is lightly started in halter and is sweet, curious, and eager to learn. Willow continues to gain confidence each day and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, affectionate Mustang. 💕

Please note that Willow will require an approved Devil’s Garden adoption application, which is separate from our rescue’s standard adoption application. Interested adopters should contact us for this application.

🍓 Strawberry Has Found Her Home!

Strawberry came to Mending Hope Equine Rescue after being seized by the Humane Officer in June 2025. Since then, she has received the care, rehabilitation, and training she needed to prepare for her next chapter.

Now she's officially adopted and beginning life with her new family.

🐴 Adoptable Horses Looking for Homes🏡

This month alone, we've been asked to take in five horses. Unfortunately, we are at our maximum capacity and had to say no to every one of them.

When we're able to take in horses that people can no longer care for or no longer want, it helps keep them out of auctions and the slaughter pipeline. 💔

Right now, the best way you can help is by helping us find adopters for the horses currently in our care. We'll list them below. 👇

With donations down, we realistically need to rehome 10 to 15 horses before we can responsibly take in more. Hay season has also been a difficult one this year, and prices are higher than usual. 🌾 Tammy and Jody have already donated as much of their personal hay as they possibly can.
