Found an old poem I wrote and wanted to share. I have so many more that I will have to find.
Your Chains
Pain, of the present, of the past,
Of the non existent, promised future
That your sins blurred my vision
Too badly to see,
Perilously imploding,
Crashing through me
Like a ton of broken,
Tormented bricks,
Tearing at my flesh,
Suffocating me
As I feel your love Slip gently,
Through my tightly clenched fists.
Caught in the rapture of your embrace,
And the torment of my mind,
You grabbed my fists with rage,
Holding them firmly, over my head.
Raising my arms in bittersweet surrender,
And unrelenting, lustful bliss.
My flesh speaking words,
My mind cannot comprehend.
You work my body, relentlessly
Like a violin,
Torturing my soul's song,
Resonating my emotion,
Plucking every string.
I lie there,
Every part of me, screaming out your song.
My voice, like the music box to your soul.
It's not my body that you touch,
But a part of me that I can not explain.
You broke through my walls,
And captured my very soul.
My emotions left to crumble,
Like tiny bits of us,
Burning Shrapnel of the past,
Branding my mind with your ghosts,
As they drip from my tongue.
My flesh set on fire,
In liberating pain.
Fueled by the fear you've created,
And the painful reminder of my memory.
My body and soul left to burn,
With the wrath of your evils,
And passion's sultry flames,
Blistering my tormented mind,
Reducing me to smoldering cinders,
Yet not releasing me from,
Your chains...
