A Chester County judge has sentenced a Coatesville couple to decades in state prison for the death of their 7-year-old son, who died after being exposed to fentanyl and co***ne inside their home.

According to prosecutors, Mousa Hawa and Holly Back were convicted of:

The convictions stem from the July 2023 death of Hunter Hawa, who was found unresponsive inside the family’s apartment in Coatesville.

Investigators said drugs, packaging materials, syringes, and other narcotics-related items were found throughout the residence.

Prosecutors argued that Hunter lived in an environment where illegal drugs were constantly present and accessible.

👤 Mousa Hawa, 43 — 22½ to 45 Years in Prison

During sentencing, the judge told the defendants:

“You chose drugs over Hunter every single day.”

Prosecutors said Hunter would have turned 11 years old this year.

Authorities also revealed that Hawa is still facing separate charges in another case involving drug delivery resulting in death connected to a fatal overdose investigation in Phoenixville.

🚨 SUSPECT ARRESTED IN DEADLY SHOOTING INSIDE WILMINGTON HOSPITAL 🚨

A man accused of opening fire inside ChristianaCare’s Wilmington Hospital has been arrested and charged following a deadly shooting that left one person dead and another critically injured.

According to Wilmington Police, John Wallace-Bey, 23, of New Castle, is accused of shooting two 19-year-olds inside the hospital around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Authorities say Wallace-Bey was taken into custody later that evening in North Philadelphia and is awaiting extradition back to Delaware.

He is expected to face charges including:

Police say one victim died from their injuries, while a second victim remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted and isolated incident.

According to ChristianaCare, Wallace-Bey and both victims were employees of the hospital. Officials say Wallace-Bey had been terminated from his employment earlier Tuesday before the shooting occurred.

The incident triggered a lockdown of Wilmington Hospital for several hours as law enforcement officers searched and secured the facility.

Hospital staff described a chaotic scene as employees sheltered in place while police cleared the building.

Following the investigation, hospital officials announced that Wilmington Hospital has resumed normal operations.

A South Jersey community is mourning the loss of a 16-year-old student-athlete who was killed in an e-bike crash Tuesday morning in Burlington County.

Authorities identified the victim as Chase Sudano, 16, a student and standout wrestler at St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland.

Police say the crash occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Tranquility Court in Southampton Township.

Investigators say Sudano was riding an e-bike when it collided with a UPS truck.

He was just days away from his 17th birthday, which would have been June 24.

Family members and coaches describe Chase as a dedicated athlete who had already accumulated 65 wrestling victories in two seasons and had dreams of competing at the Division I college level.

🚨 NORRISTOWN MAN ACCUSED OF STRIKING 7-YEAR-OLD BOY WITH CHARGING CORD 🚨

A Montgomery County man is facing child abuse-related charges after authorities say he assaulted a young boy who was in his care.

According to court records, Manuel “Bam” McClellan, 39, of Norristown, appeared in court to answer allegations that he struck a 7-year-old child with a phone charging cord.

Investigators allege the incident occurred after the child accidentally defecated on himself.

Authorities say McClellan was responsible for caring for the boy at the time of the alleged assault.
