The popular family owned Kelly’s Seafood 🦀 in the Northeast is closing after 68 years. I had several people reach out and request an illustration of Kelly’s. It is a much loved place and it will definitely be missed!

I took a picture of Chris' Jazz Cafe on Saturday night as I was leaving a wedding that I was live sketching at across the street. I was tired from my event but Chris’ blue lights and live music stopped me in my tracks and I knew I had to draw it!! I hope I was able to capture the same feeling that stopped me in my tracks! This original marker illustration is 8”x10” and it’s available, message me for details or you can find it in my Etsy shop.

My next mini 5”x5” illustration is of one of the gazebos behind the Philadelphia Art Museum. This original gazebo was made of wood and built in the 1870’s, it is now made of steel. I always loved running by this gazebo on the schuylkill river trail on my way back home from Kelly Drive. I would venture up to the gazebo on the rare occasion that I wanted some hill work 😂! It’s a great view looking out over the schuylkill river from this gazebo! This original marker illustration is available, message me if you are interested!

Here is my hand drawn marker and pencil illustration of the Anthony Wayne Theater in Wayne, PA. We had been to this theater a few times and it was a great small theater to go with family or friends. The last time I was there we took my nephew to see the movie Early Man in 2018 and then it closed a couple years later. I have been hearing that it is going to reopen and I would love to take my son here when it does! It is a beautiful theater in a great area and we are looking forward to it being brought back to life!! I left the marquee blank, if anyone is interested in the 8”x8” original marker and pencil artwork or prints you can customize your piece with your favorite titles! The original and prints are available in my Etsy shop or you can message me directly!
