At CocoLife, our Compassion Program exists to remind families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss that they are not alone. We walk beside them through grief, honor every baby's life, and create space for healing, without timelines, without judgment, and with endless compassion.
This story represents the voices of so many mothers who have trusted us with their most sacred moments.

Every family has a story. Every birth experience matters.
Kia's journey reminds us that doula care is about so much more than birth support, it's about being heard, healing from past experiences, restoring hope, and helping families reclaim their power.
From processing the emotions surrounding an emergency C-section to achieving a beautiful VBAC, we're honored to have been part of her family's story. This is why we do what we do.

Last Call!!! Join us for the final session!
Community, we made it to the last IPE session of the summer and we are closing out with one of our favorite Community Champions Tei Pearson-Hall 🎉
This summer series has been absolutely AMAZING! Wonderful engagement, consistent turnout, and our facilitators were remarkable. Doulas have connected and heard from social workers, clinicians, and other social service professionals to build an understanding around community care.
Stay tuned we will be back this fall with another IPE Series.

Today we're celebrating the Coco Bump Perinatal Health Academyone of the ways we're transforming maternal health by building a stronger, more sustainable doula workforce.
Because of the dedication of our phenomenal trainers, we've had the privilege of training birth workers across the country, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate, culturally responsive care to families.
We're especially proud that our curriculum has been integrated at the community college level, allowing students to earn college credit while preparing for careers in maternal health.
In many states, our training is also recognized as an approved pathway for doulas seeking to become Medicaid providers, and we don't stop at training. We also support doulas through the provider enrollment process so they can sustainably serve more families in their communities.
A heartfelt thank you to Doula Alexis for your kind words and incredible feedback. Your journey is why we do this work. 💛
Together, we're not just training doulas we're strengthening the maternal health workforce and improving outcomes for families everywhere.

Many of you know we are based out of Philadelphia, AND we do work across the country thanks to our MOMbassador network.

July 2019 we launched 1st launched Cocobump.com. Word and work grew rapidly, giving us the opportunity to expand our reach and in March 2020 we rebranded the website to Cocolife.black.
