My visit to The Caring Center childcare facility in West Philadelphia was a powerful reminder that some of the most important work shaping our future is happening inside our early childhood classrooms every single day.
Team Breezy genuinely cares about quality early childhood education because these early years matter. A child’s mind is being shaped by what they learn, what they experience, and the people who nurture and encourage them.
Early childhood education isn’t just childcare—it’s where the foundation of who a child will become begins.

$7 MILLION TO FIGHT EBT THEFT — AND PROTECT THE FOOD BENEFITS FAMILIES DEPEND ON.
Proud to stand with my colleagues as we announced $7 million in the state budget to help replace Pennsylvania’s current EBT/SNAP cards with new, more secure chip-enabled cards.
Families should never have to go to the grocery store and discover that the benefits they depend on to feed their children have been stolen.
These upgraded cards will help strengthen security and better protect Pennsylvanians from benefit theft.
This is about protecting people’s food, their families, and their peace of mind.
