This unpaid internship is designed to provide the intern with an opportunity to gain practical experience, professional development, training, mentoring and exposure to the operations of a non-profit organization.

Starts in fall 2026 and will continue through to the summer of 2027. Please apply no later than Friday, September 18, 2026. Camp Erin and Camp Mariposa alumni highly encouraged to apply!

What an incredible experience at the VitAL Conference!

Eluna is headed to Alabama!

Sarah Behm Guillén MBA, MA, PPS and Brian Maus MA, will be presenting at the 5th Annual VitAL Alabama Conference, August 20–21 at the Bryant Conference Center in Tuscaloosa, one of the state's largest gatherings of professionals working across mental health, substance use, and recovery.

Their session explores the 7Cs® framework, developed by Jerry Moe, as a prevention-based approach embedded in Camp Mariposa's year-round mentoring model for youth ages 9–17 impacted by familial substance misuse. They'll share preliminary findings from Eluna's national research partnership with Clemson University and introduce an expanded model with an 8th C: Community.

ESPN reporter and advocate Lauren Sisler joined Camp Mariposa Sarasota for a full day last Saturday - not as a guest on the sidelines, but a participant in the full camp experience. She shared her own story of being impacted by addiction and grief and joined campers as they shared their stories and found joy and connection in the camp community.

Thank you to Lauren for a wonderful day, and to our partners JFCS of the Suncoast! We'll be posting videos from "My Day At Addiction Prevention Camp" later this month, so stay tuned.
