Jaime Meekins will talk about losing his son, Mu’aawiyah, to gun violence and how he turned that pain into purpose and passion.

What started as a family nonprofit created by his grandmother has grown into a public safety powerhouse dedicated to preventing violence, creating opportunities and saving lives.

Jaime carries his son’s legacy with him every day.
