Beacon

An open and welcoming community, Beacon aims to cultivate community through arts, storytelling, and faith. We gather for worship every Sunday at 5pm, with a service that is open and affirming to all, family-friendly, and approachable. On the first Sunday of every month we have a community meal after worship, all are invited. We offer non-religious programming that is reflective of the needs and interests of the neighborhood--these programs have included urban gardening, after school programs, youth mentoring, art workshops, story-telling meals and workshops, and youth hip-hop writing, to name a few.
