A beautiful night of wine, connecting, and celebrating with Friends for Good! We're so proud to get to collaborate for two years in a row now!
🕺
PhillyWine was thrilled to be a part of the FFG September 10 event, sharing a wine tasting with guests.
💃
We love bringing wine experiences outside of the classroom, especially when they're centered on building community, connection, and a good cause. Thank you, Friends for Good for having us. We were so happy to be a part of it
We got to spend a few days tasting, learning, (re)connecting, and spending time with wine industry leaders at TexSom 2026!
Wine education never stops. There’s always another region to (re)visit, another perspective to hear, and another wine to taste. That ongoing enthusiasm for learning is what we hope bring back to our students at PhillyWine.
Until next year, TEXSOM. 🥂
More than just pretty 🍎
This is a red-fleshed crab apple, and it’s used to make some styles of cider. Different apple varieties can bring different levels of acidity, tannin, aroma, texture, and even color to the finished cider.
Join us on September 17 as we explore cider with a guided tasting led by Blind Bear Claire 🐻, Pennsylvania’s first and only Pommelier.
We can’t wait!

It was a pretty packed house, but this is what wine education looks like at PhillyWine. 💪
A table full of wine, plenty of questions, lots of tasting, and a room of people learning to understand what’s in the glass.
Our WSET classes are designed to be hands-on, approachable, and small enough for real conversation. (We started using a bigger space but actually missed the intimacy of the smaller space!)
Whether you work in wine or simply want to know more about it, we’re here for you.
PhillyWine is a WSET Approved Program Provider offering wine education from Level 1 through Level 4 Diploma.

Summer Level 3 at PhillyWine is all wrapped up! 🍷📚
It was a lot of wine, a LOT of studying, a lot of fun, and a pretty great group.
💃🕺
WSET Level 3 is a serious step up in wine study, but we think learning wine should be a blast. Our Tuesday classs this Fall class are full but we added a Monday section. 😉 See you soon!

One of the best parts of TEXSOM? Running into PhillyWine students out in the wine world. 💃
So much fun catching up with Michaela in Dallas and sharing a glass, of course!
We love seeing where wine education takes our students long after class is over. From WSET courses in Philadelphia to conferences, tastings, travel and careers in wine, the learning (and the community!!) keeps going.
Cheers to familiar faces in unexpected places. 🥂

A look inside WSET level 2 at Fitler Club 🍷

Our instructors don’t just teach wine. Some of them make it!
🕺
Meet Bob Lemoine, PhillyWine L2 instructor and winemaker.
From crush, to fermentation to the finished bottle, Bob brings firsthand experience into the classroom and connects what we taste in the glass to what actually happens in the cellar.
Join us this fall for L2!
