Heirloom pieces, whether a piece of clothing, an accessory, or a piece of jewelry will always always always get me right in my feels. There is something so ridiculously special about wearing something that meant so much to a family member + giving said piece new life/a spotlight once again.

In honor of Father’s Day being just a few days ago, may I present to you one of my favorite ‘father of the bride’ moments that I’ve been lucky enough to witness?
Candace + her sister + I were snapping some sister + bride portraits when her dad knocked on the door just to check in on her. The following moments were some the most joyful, tear-filled, truly authentic moments I’ve had the honor to photograph - you best believe I was just barely holding back my own tears (which then flowed freely as I edited these).
I loooveee a good first look just as much as the next photographer but honestly, there was just something so heartfelt + pure in these fully unplanned, unscripted moments.

Let’s just chat about Sarah + Levi’s amazing wedding party for a bit, shall we? Their friends were the absolute ultimate hype people in every way - Levi’s best man even officiated for them!

I feel like I can always tell how a wedding day is going to flow based simply on the energy in the getting ready area when I walk in at the beginning of the day + truly, these humans made it so easy to simply celebrate Sarah + Levi well. 🥰
