VOID VISION

I enjoy distortions.
I was having fun playing with the reflections of the overhead lights on the glossy Polaroids..
Unfortunately, social media algorithms hate distorted images. They favor clean, crisp images. Videos take priority over photos.. videos with inane captions and things that bait negative emotions.
Should I conform and follow the prescribed behavioral guidelines or should I sabotage my success and follow my artistic instincts? Should I compromise my vision? If I was smart I probably would. Art rarely pays the bills.
But I guess I’ll just be the tree that falls without a witness.

My first show in LA since 2023 is tomorrow.

I will be real with you… I am feeling e # # unwell mentally and physically right now….. but I will give you everything that is left of me.

Everything is the world is batsh*t crazy right now. Everyone is mentally checked out. I know I am!!

But music is this one beautiful little thing we still have.. (for now)

I said I wouldn’t cry this morning but as I was packing my car to leave the East Coast, my Hispanic neighbor came outside to hand me a bouquet of roses and I burst into tears. I am crushed by 1000 thoughts and emotions.. so many layers. She didn’t know I was leaving. We spoke in Spanish and broken English and hugged and cried and I thought about all of the horrible raci$t unjust world around us.
Valentine’s Day to me will always be something beyond romantic love. For me it’s more about COMPASSION than passion.
I want to say so much more but my plane is departing..
Thank you SO much to my friends and community.. I love you all more than words can express.

My life changed irrevocably under the light of the Full Wolf Moon 🌕 …
I felt heaviness leaving me. I heard the wolves howl. I heard the water moving around me.. and I realized the water was love.

My psychic skin is molting 🐍

2025. I don’t even know what to say.
This year aged me terribly and has been collectively awful.

I lost everything.
But I am on a path to find myself.

My friends and community were there for me and I can NEVER ever thank you enough.. Sincerely.. you saved me. I love you more than I can say.

That said, I did SO much this year.
I played Verboden Fest, Vampire’s Ball (where I literally got to sing Madonna’s ‘Like a Prayer’ in a Friggen’ church! 🤯) WGT Fest, Substance Fest, Goth Prom Halloween in New Orleans (a highlight for me!)..
And countless dance parties ( ❤️ you and for keeping culture alive!!) plus got to collab with my dearest friend and hero (music video forthcoming!)

The year of the Snake is coming to an end.
The snake sheds its skin. As do I.
We will transition to something new. Something sacred. Somewhere far away..

I guess I should mention that I’ve made big decision to relocate to the West Coast for a while. Looking forward to seeing all my friends out there and making beautiful music with you!
