Speak Low

Cross-promotion! If you love Speak Low, you'll also love Lush Life. We're less danceable, but we make up for it in darkly inscrutable attitude.

Lush Life is back! Come hear our tribute to the superlative Burt Bacharach at Collingswood Porchfest, Saturday September 26th at 4:30 PM. Catch Shannon McGill Vasile fresh off her win with the Flying Vees' in the WXPN Song Challenge. This win has caused tension in the band as Shannon has spun off into a vortex of egotism, threatening everything in her path. So make sure you see us soon! The situation is distinctly reminiscent of The Police circa 1983 and I don't have to tell you who the "Sting" is in this scenario, if you catch my drift.

Come see us play the music of Elton John at the Haddon Township Fall Festival, Saturday September 12 at 3:20 PM. The peerless Magzie Talbott will join us on vocals. See you there!

Great photos of the Welcome to Your Life show at the Black Squirrel on Saturday, by the peerless Bill DiCecca.

I'll be alone
Dancing you know it baby

Black air and seven seas and rotten through
But what can you do?
I don't know how I'm meant to act with all you lot
Sometimes I don't try
I just na, na, na, na, na, na
