CPS meets talent with opportunity by providing a high quality, affordable early childhood and elemen

Community Partnership School was founded in 2006 by a partnership between Germantown Academy and Project H.O.M.E. to attend to the educational needs of children from an underserved North Central Philadelphia neighborhood characterized by high rates of poverty and low rates of graduation. Community Partnership School is now in its 16th year of providing a high-quality and affordable early childhood

Our students had a great time picking out books from the Traveling Tree House Bookmobile yesterday! Over the summer, keeping kids reading is important and the Bookmobile allows youth to choose books that they’re excited about.📘🌞

Thanks again to Tree House Books for providing everyone with fun summer reading materials—we’re truly grateful for the free books!📚

The Traveling Tree House Bookmobile will be visiting CPS next week! This library on wheels offers free books to kids of all ages, and features books by Black authors and other authors of color telling diverse stories so all kids can see themselves represented.🌳📖

Feel free to stop by on Monday, July 20th from 11am to 12pm to pick up some free books!📚

Thank you to Tree House Books for providing this wonderful opportunity!

Last week, we had our annual alumni trip to Six Flags! This was a great chance for our alumni to connect with each other, including our CPS Class of 2026, and to have a great day out in the sun!☀️😎

At CPS, we are committed to supporting each student during their time at school and beyond. This is why we have a robust alumni engagement program that provides former students with resources and support for applying to middle school, high school, and college. 🏫

If you would like to support more opportunities like this for our alumni, we highly recommend that you make a contribution to our annual fund! Go to https://www.communitypartnershipschool.org/give-today

Congratulations to Jalia Hale, the recipient of this year’s Kristin Smith Alumni Engagement Award!!🎉

This award is named in honor of former CPS Board Chair (2021-2024) and dedicated Trustee (2016-2024) Kristin Smith for her extraordinary service to the CPS community. The award is bestowed annually upon a CPS graduate who gives their best back to CPS in ways that advance student and community growth and well-being.💚💙💛❤️

Watch part of Jalia’s speech at the fifth grade commencement!

“CPS has always played a major role in my life, even after I graduated…CPS was always there, checking in on me and my family. That level of care says a lot about this school. It shows the commitment CPS has to its students and families. Not just while they’re here, but long after they leave. CPS has had such a profound impact on my education and personal growth that I knew I wanted to give back to the place that helped shape who I am.” - Jalia
