Fairmount Behavioral Health joined fellow UHS facilities at a Regional Trauma-Informed Care Training hosted by Friends Hospital and led by Jennnifer Morgan Smith, UHS Director of Patient Care Initiatives. Alongside teams from Brooke Glen Behavioral Hospital, Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital, Keystone Center, The Horsham Clinic, and The Meadows, participants strengthened skills and shared best practices that help create safer, more compassionate healing environments for patients. Last week we celebrated and honored Mental Health Technician Abu Mayah on his retirement after 24 years of dedicated service to Fairmount Behavioral Health.
For more than two decades, Abu has been a valued team member, making a lasting impact on our patients, colleagues, and organization through his commitment, compassion, and professionalism.
