Today we celebrate the incredible women of the Hegeman String Band. 💛💙✨

From our all-women percussion section keeping the beat, our dedicated dancers, to the talented women musicians bringing the music to life, our women marshals keeping us all together, and the strong leadership of our captain—women play a powerful role in the heart and soul of our band.

Your passion, talent, and commitment help drive our tradition forward while inspiring the next generation of performers in the String Band/Mummers community.

Happy International Women’s Day to the amazing women of Hegeman and everywhere who continue to lead, create, and make history. 🎶🥁
