Welcome to the ✨Bunk House ✨
It feels like a serene retreat in the trees but really it’s just a few steps away in an addition above the garage.

A bathroom combination I can always get behind: a cute leggy vanity paired with a linen cabinet that keeps all of the goods tucked away. All the storage, all the looks. Add the houndstooth floor and I’m dead.

Any guesses where this cozy cottage bedroom is located?
1 Maine
2 Nantucket
3 Bryn Mawr
4 Hudson Valley

Stay tuned for this home’s reveal next week!

Dear Future Clients,
We have only three requests of you:
1. You must be kind
2. You must trust us
3. You must like fun chairs

If those are good, we are golden.

“We still come home and are like, I can’t believe we live here” Quote from our Luxe on Locust clients, who, delightfully, have reached out for phase 2. We have already transformed all of the public facing rooms, now it’s time to reimagine the rest 💙

Is it just me, or does Fall weather automatically kick you into soup mode? I’m wanting soup all the time! Confession: I’ve never made my own soup. I hear it’s easy but for some reason I find it daunting. I’d love to hear if you have easy faves.

The dining room might just be my favorite room to design.

By nature of how we live today, it’s often not the everyday eating spot. It’s where we gather for special dinners, holidays and hosting — but I love that it can be so much more than a place for a formal meal.

For us, it’s the puzzle spot, the laptop catch-up hub and, unfortunately, the mail dumping ground… so let’s call that last one the “organization zone.” 😉

Whether it’s a big family meal, a night with friends or just an excuse to mix up the everyday routine, the dining room is a place to gather, linger, laugh and, of course, Eat!

I’m curious — how do you use your dining room when you’re not dining?
Is it a room you use a lot, or just for special events?
Hot tip- we find if the room is beautiful and warm, you’ll want to spend time in there.

So much of our work is centered around creating bespoke pieces that serve our clients specific needs. Got a large curvy kitchen window? Cool, we will design and build you a fabulous curvy dining banquette. It will be comfortable, it will be cleanable, it will be fabulous.

And it’ll be made locally by artisans we know and trust!
Dying over this snippet of the finished piece from our workroom. Well done, Martin Industries !
