Join us for a Denver community Shabbat dinner on August 14th!

We will welcome Rosh Chodesh Elul (the Jewish month leading up to Rosh Hashanah and the High Holidays) with good food, good schmooze, and a chance to celebrate the joy that animals and the natural world bring to our lives.

Together we'll share a delicious plant-based meal, connect with new and familiar faces, and explore Rosh Hashanah LaBehemah—the ancient "New Year for Animals"—as a meaningful way to reconnect with creation as we begin our journey toward the High Holidays.

From the Ashes of Agri Star: A Reckoning for Kosher Meat 07/31/2026

A major fire at Agri Star in Postville, Iowa devastated not only employees, the plant, and local community, but also the entire country's kosher meat supply.

The consolidation of our food system has serious consequences.

This fire is a tragedy and an opportunity for us to build a more secure, sustainable, and compassionate food system.

From the Ashes of Agri Star: A Reckoning for Kosher Meat This tragedy calls for a renewed commitment to the spirit of kashrut.

We had an incredible (and delicious) Shabbat dinner on the Milk and Honey Farm last Friday!

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and didn’t let a little Colorado summer rain put a damper on such a special gathering.

Special shoutout to Boulder JCC for being such great hosts and Vegan Fusion | Chef Mark Reinfeld for the awesome food!

We hope to host many more sustainable meals together in the future. If you’re planning a gathering and want some help on menu planning and design, please feel free to reach out to our expert staff, who would love to help!

Farm Bill Would Deliver Cruelty 07/16/2026

Last month, Rabbi Melissa Hoffman and Reverend John Millspaugh authored an op-ed about how the 2026 House Farm Bill fails farmers, families, and animals. This article was subsequently republished by 20 additional news outlets, extending its reach to 7.3 million readers across the country.

Please help us continue to drive awareness of the cruelty proposed in the Farm Bill by reading and sharing the article.
