For more than 200 years, the Academy of Natural Sciences has been a place of curiosity, discovery, and unforgettable memories in Philadelphia. From becoming home to the world’s first publicly displayed mounted dinosaur skeleton to caring for millions of scientific specimens, its impact reaches far beyond its museum walls.
As the museum prepares to close on September 30, we’re taking a moment to celebrate everything it has meant to generations of Philadelphians. 💛
The doors may close, but its history, discoveries, and the memories made inside will always be part of Philly.
Forever remembered. Forever part of Philadelphia. 🦕✨
