Recently, members of the HAP staff visited the Riverview Wellness Village to establish a new legal clinic partnership which will serve the more than 200 Gaudenzia and Merakey program participants on site. This clinic would not have been possible without vital and generous support from van Ameringen Foundation. Amal is a compassionate leader and dedicated advocate, she consistently goes above and beyond to support our clients, staff and mission. As HAP’s Executive Director, she leads with vision and a strong commitment to the clients we serve. We're grateful for all she does and proud to celebrate her today!

HAPpy 4th anniversary to our Director of Operations Theresa “Terri” Jett!

Terri is one of the driving forces behind the scenes at HAP, making sure the many moving pieces of our organization stay on track. As our Director of Operations, Terri helps make it possible for us to serve our clients every day, from keeping our systems running smoothly to supporting our team and making sure our day-to-day operations work the way they should. Congrats on year 4!!

HAP Offices will be closed Monday September 7th in observation of Labor Day.

Congrats to our Director of Intake and Outreach and one of our Duffy Fellows, Joel Sobel, on his 7th year at HAP!

Intakes are the main touchpoint between our staff and clients and the person behind that process is Joel. From complex cases to overseeing our clinics, Joel’s years of experience show in how he interacts with staff and clients with patience and expertise. He is not one for fanfare, but we hope you’ll join us in wishing him a HAPpy 7th!!!

Every Wednesday 11:30 – 2pm, you can find out staff members at Broad Street Love for our weekly legal clinic. These clinics are a great way to talk with one of our attorneys without an appointment!
