BACKROOMS. Wow. And here I thought Obsession was going to be my movie of the year, Backrooms immediately took that spot, as well as a spot on my letterboxd top 4.

I love a movie that makes you think. I enjoy when things aren’t immediately spelled out or demand the viewer to interpret. The self reflection that comes along with films like this is what shapes our personalities, our morals, even the way he handle our traumas. Backrooms does all of those things and more. “I love you so so so much” ❤️OBSESSION(2026) has officially won me over. It’s been a very long time since I’ve been this sucked in by a movie and the second I got home from the theater my mind was nonstop thinking about it, I just had to create some art for it. Definitely going to be my favorite movie of ‘26.
