The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission recently approved new guidance to help ensure people with disabilities who rely on Personal Care Assistants can fully participate in community life. The guidance clarifies when accommodations, including free or discounted admission for PCAs, may be necessary to provide equal access and opportunity.

Inglis is now accepting applications for the Enabled Home Showcase at the 2026 Opening Doors Together Housing Conference on September 9. Selected Pennsylvania-based programs will have the opportunity to present their technology solutions and showcase how innovation is improving accessibility, independence, and quality of life for people with disabilities and older adults.
Participants will deliver a brief live pitch and demonstration to an audience of statewide leaders, funders, service providers, and potential collaborators.

We had a BLAST last week as we celebrated Disability Pride throughout Inglis House! From customizing tie dye shirts to a parade showing our pride, it was a week of fun, community, and a shared pride in being who we are, no matter what we face.
