🌍 How do you prepare students for a world where geopolitics shapes business decisions?

In the Lauder Institute's Politics and Policy Program (PPP), students examine how politics, regulation, and business intersect through workshops, international fieldwork, interviews with policymakers and industry leaders, and the development of professional policy briefs.

📖 Wharton Magazine highlights the vision behind PPP and the experiences that bring it to life, including insights from Professor Regina Abrami, who conceptualized the program; alumnus Pavel Oliva (G00, WG00), whose philanthropic support helped launch it; and Lauder students Cristina Hernández (G27, WG27) and Hiroki Kobayashi (G26, WG26), whose field research showcases the program's experiential approach.

The Class of 2028 is now participating in Summer Immersion, with the program spanning 20 cities around the globe. During the University of Pennsylvania Reunion Weekend in May, Lauder Institute alumni came together to reconnect and celebrate lifelong friendships forged across cultures, continents, and generations. This year was especially meaningful as we welcomed back members of Lauder’s inaugural Class of 1986 for their 40th reunion.
