Comedian Patrick Bean

Patrick announces that he is a part of the first ever Big Tomato Comedy Festival in San Diego, CA, this August 20-23 (congratulations to all the comedians who are a part of the festival)! In honor of that, George brings us another edition of “Gee, That’s Random,” with fun facts about San Diego. Afterwards, Patrick & George discuss how they’re know they’re getting older based on their algorithms and style choices. Check out the only podcast released this week that’s about San Diego, but has nothing to do with

George catches us up on his experience at the Society of American Magician’s National Convention in Appleton, Wisconsin. This year’s convention was special in that it was the 100th anniversary of the passing of the legendary magician, Harry Houdini, and held in his adoptive hometown. George walks us through his busy week as stage manager, overseeing a number of productions, enjoying some lectures, and holding bolt cutters IN THE MOST DRAMATIC WAY KNOWN TO MAN...All this, plus the announcement of where next year’s convention will be held!

This week’s guest is professional wrestler Jeff Noyze! Jeff tells us about his surprising start in the business; so surprising, he didn’t even know he was going to wrestle until he got to the venue! He goes on to tell us about training with some of today’s top names in professional wrestling, as well as his time with his mentors, including some stories with the late-great Balls Mahoney, who George and Patrick also knew. They discuss how George assisted Jeff into what is now becoming an acting career, with films such as “Happy Gilmore 2,” and “Disclosure Day,” on his list of credits, as well as (at the time of recording) a Best Actor nomination at the Transparent Film Festival for the movie “Turnbuckle.” And at the time of episode release, a WIN for BEST ACTOR at said film festival. Congratulations Jeff!
