West Philly Tool Library

Our inaugural bike repair class was a hit! Everyone had an awesome time and learned all about bike maintenance and repair with our hands-on workshop. From the basics of adjusting the saddle for proper ride position, to more complex work with brakes, chains, and flat repairs - this class has something for everyone! We are excited to run this class again (twice!) in April and help bring more knowledge and skills to WPTL! Sign up today!

Don’t miss our new Advanced Cutting Board class on February 21st and 28th! Choose your favorite wood and complete the glue up, planing, and finishing of your very own custom cutting board! No prior experience is necessary!

Thanks to all for helping us in 2023. We simply could not have made it without you. This year, we hosted more classes, added more new tools (and repaired more tools also), and welcomed more new and renewing members than in years past. We are so excited to continue improving how we do tools in 2024, so you can do you!

Today is Giving Tuesday! We are extremely grateful for your support throughout the years, whether that is through a membership, tool sales, or volunteering with us. We are very thankful for what we have and rarely ask for more support. Please help us on this international day of generosity and donate today!

This year, Giving Tuesday is on November 28th. We ask for your support on this day of global generosity, as our organization can only continue to serve the community with your continued support. We have made so many improvements to our member experience in 2023, and we look forward to continue improving in 2024 and beyond. Please consider making a donation of time, tools, or money which will greatly help us continue our mission.
