The Busan Biennale Organizing Committee invites applications through an international open call for the position of Artistic Director of the Sea Art Festival 2027.

Since its inception in 1987, the Sea Art Festival has established itself as a distinctive contemporary art event that continually reinterprets Busan’s relationship with the sea and the city through the lens of contemporary art.

The Committee welcomes applications from candidates with vision and expertise who can critically engage with the transformation of Busan as a coastal city and envision new possibilities for the Sea Art Festival.
