Philabundance

On September 28, America250PA joined teams from ShopRite, The Fresh Grocer, and Wakefern Food Corp. at our South Philadelphia warehouse for a volunteer shift. Wakefern Corp. also made a $20,000 contribution to Philabundance.

This partnership helps Philabundance provide critical support to those facing food insecurity.

Philabundance Community Kitchen (PCK)’s 16-week culinary training program is offered for free to adults who qualify for public benefits.

PCK’s next in-person open house will be Wednesday, October 7, at 10 a.m.

Attendance at one open house is required to apply. PCK’s program also fulfills SNAP work requirements.

We're grateful for Lockheed Martin's recent $10,000 gift to support Philabundance in purchasing nutritious foods like produce, protein, and pantry staples for neighbors across our nine-county service area.

Thanks to Lockheed Martin, Philabundance can continue its work to strengthen the resilience of the communities we serve.

Team members from GIANT joined Philabundance at our South Philadelphia warehouse to sort fresh produce from America's Grow-a-Row for neighbors facing hunger. GIANT also made a generous financial donation.

This partnership helps more nutritious food reach local food pantries, community centers, senior centers, and other community organizations, during Hunger Action Month and beyond.

We’re grateful to The GIANT Company and America’s Grow-A-Row for their tireless dedication to ending hunger in our region.

It's Hunger Action Day!

Today is a key moment during Hunger Action Month to stand with our neighbors facing hunger.

Join the fight against hunger today by wearing orange, volunteering, or donating. We all play a part in ending hunger for good.

Join us tomorrow at 11 a.m. for Preston & Steve’s Camp Out for Hunger Kickoff Pep Rally, presented by NRG Energy, at the Vivint Home Turf at Dilworth Park, 1 South 15th St., Philadelphia!

This inaugural event will feature games, giveaways, and the opportunity to pick up food drive kits to kick off Camp Out for Hunger donation collections, as well as a visit from our favorites, the team from the The Preston & Steve Show!

September 29 is Hunger Action Day.

Wear orange this Hunger Action Day to raise awareness about food insecurity, because no one should go hungry while good food goes to waste.

Share a photo of you wearing orange and help us take a stand against hunger.

Earlier this month, Philabundance joined the Malcolm Jenkins Foundation for Get Ready Fest, where local partners came together to connect Philadelphia families with nutritious foods, essential resources, and support.

Join Philabundance this Wednesday for a webinar about the reality of hunger in our region, the impact of recent SNAP cuts, challenges facing food banks, and how we can take action to feed our communities.
