ALL Art is Political

Group Show

Opening October 2nd from 6pm to 10pm
844 N Broad St, Philadelphia

“All good art is political! There is none that isn’t.” – Toni Morrison

All art is a reflection of our society, even work that appears purely ornamental. Art has long been at the forefront of protest and political commentary and has the power to challenge authority in ways that words cannot. Through symbols and expression, art often inspires people to action and builds communities. Governments, institutions, social media platforms continue to censor art because they know it holds power.

Works by: Sarah McEneaney, Joe Genaro, Shepard Fairey, Martha Rich, Crystal Stokowski, Ben Woodward, Chris Kline, Bill McRight, Reed BMore, Sarah McAnulty, Joe Boruchow, Sarah Kaizar, Kathryn Goshorn, YOMI, Rich Fravel, TB Ward, Tezh Modarressi, Ryan Collerd, Jessica Kourkounis, Denise Fik
