In my latest Substack article, I write about the meaning of being “Branded” by the prison industrial complex. Mass Incarceration is another plantation system designed for the subjugation of Black males on a prison farm. “The yard” becomes another avenue of capitalistic exploitation as prisoners work for cheap while sustaining the regulation of U.S. economy.
