We are officially 4 days away from Back to School Community Day 2026!
Here's a look at what we have planned for Saturday. Come ready to spend the day with us, visit our community resource partners, participate in activities, enjoy storytime, and prepare for the new school year.
We will also be offering free general health screenings with VeniVision Mobile. Those who complete a health screening will be able to select from available personal care, health, and hygiene products to take home.
Backpack and school supply distribution begins at 1:30 PM while supplies last.
We can't wait to see everyone Saturday!

At 19 years old, I organized my first back to school giveaway.
I did it because just one year earlier, as a senior in high school, I was essentially a homeless teen struggling to get the school supplies I needed. I'll never forget what it felt like when someone helped me.
Now, 17 years later, we're preparing for another Back to School Community Day.
To some, it's just a backpack or a notebook. To a family, it's one less burden. To a student, it's the confidence to start the school year prepared.

Join ITAVFoundation, in collaboration with Prime Legacy Security, Inc., for Let's Talk Women: Personal Safety, a free community event focused on awareness, avoidance, and decision making.
This is more than a conversation about personal safety. It's an opportunity to learn practical strategies for increasing situational awareness, recognizing warning signs, reducing risk, and connecting with community resources that support women and families.
Whether you're a student, mother, professional, or caregiver, you'll leave with valuable information you can apply in your everyday life.

What an incredible evening spent meeting, connecting, and building community at We Got Us' Hoe Responsibly event in support of ITAVFoundation's 2026 Back to School Community Day.

Let's Make Bracelets!
Creativity is coming to Back to School Community Day 2026!
Join Margie from Beat It Beads for a fun, hands-on bracelet-making workshop where children can design and create their very own bracelet to take home. It's the perfect activity for young creators to express themselves while making something special they'll be proud to wear.

Meet the Author at Back to School Community Day!
Join Dr. Kathleen Walls, author of Froggy-T and Bunny, for a special interactive storytime during ITAVFoundation's Back to School Community Day 2026.
Bring the kids for an engaging reading experience filled with storytelling, imagination, and fun. After storytime, families will also have the opportunity to meet the author and learn more about her inspiring children's book.
